Henri Matisse famously said, "Creativity takes courage," and he was right. Even more so, it takes courage to put yourself out there and submit work to a juried show. Locally Grown Art! received more entries then I could have ever imagined and I want to thank each and every one of you for sharing a part of yourself with me and the show's juror, Erik Sacony, Founder and Director of Headway Art Collective. Sacony thoughtfully considered each submission and has curated a show that beautifully highlights the artistic talent found locally.
